After a rainy morning the sun came out and I realised it was the best decision i'd ever made. Forget blinds and all their crazy sales techniques!!!! He arrived on time, helped remove some furniture, covered up remaining furniture, cleaned up well after fitting so that you would not know he had been there, (other than the film on the roof that is). A professional job well done, would recommend him.  Useful

4.7 out of 5 Posted : 6 days ago  Had roof heat film installed in the conservatory. Price was great, and the whole process, from first visit and quote, to installation itself was smooth and pleasant. The film worked exactly as promised, and the advice we were given was good and useful. Especially, there was no attempt to push more expensive products, but the best compromise for our circumstances was sought by all involved. All in all, this was one of the most pleasurable dealings with small companies/individuals doing work in our house in the past 10 years. We heartily recommend Solar Control, and will use them again if we need more heat and UV insulation for our glass.  Useful

As you know we had roof blinds fitted some 16 years ago and they were good, but did make the conservatory and dining room very dark. They were also difficult to raise and lower. We were concerned that the heat and glare would be a problem with the translucent film, you reassured us it would be OK, and indeed it is. We are delighted with the results, our conservatory now seems much bigger and it is a pleasure to see the sky. The dining room is also so much brighter. Heat control and glare are fine and we are so pleased we had it done. A first class job carried out efficiently and very professionally. Their Customer service was second to none as spoke to Robert on phone, where he explained everything in a language I could understand, he sent emails to confirm what had been discussed with photo attachments to give me an idea of how the product would look. Then replied to further emails answering further queries before sending out product which arrived within 5 days. After fitting the product myself I had yet another concern, so another email on a Saturday but within 24 hours I had a reply and peace of mind. In these days of Rip Off Britain I have no hesitation in recommending Solar Control Ltd 100%.  Useful
